    by sagephotoworld, Apr 08, 2009
    Pros:

    Inexpensive, stabilised, lightweight, decent IQ.

    Cons:

IQ and focus have foibles that the user has to address in use.

The Bottom Line: Given care to address the lenses failings, it's quite a good lens. I don't recommend it for professional use.
Review: I have had this lens for just over a year. I can take some absolutely fantastic images with it. It d... More

The Bottom Line: Get this lens if you don't like the hassles carrying an L and want a quality all around zoom lens with IS.
Review: I'm just a novice who is part of the huge wave of consumers buying DSLRs on the market now. I bought... More

Great build, great quality photos, and a moderate price.

    Cons:

Too grande for the Rebel. You'll want a bigger camera body with this lens.

Review: I was shooting with this lens and a Rebel XT and wasn't having a lot of fun doing it. I also own the... More
