    Pros:

    Cheap and the lights with the sound help

    Cons:

    Weak design, too much static, and very bulky.
    The Bottom Line: Pay the extra. Pay the extra $5 or $10 and get something that will give you a little more bang for your buck.

    Pros:

    good range, pretty light show when the kid gets really upset

    Cons:

    Horrible static, muffled distorted audio.
    The Bottom Line: What could have been a great monitor is hampered by constant static and a resulting red bar of light.
